Deirdre Grace joined the King Conservation District in May of 2013. Deirdre has worked with northwest stakeholders to improve community and natural environments for over 20 years. Her experience spans ensuring diverse voices were included in research at the US DOE Hanford Nuclear Reservation, delivering on the City of Seattle’s commitments to neighborhood improvements while meeting Growth Management mandates, and helping Puget Sound cities increase their recycling rates. Deirdre holds a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Affairs and a Bachelors in Writing from the University of New Mexico.
