Mohamed is an Associate at HED where he serves as an Architectural Project Leader and a Sustainable Practice Regional Leader for the Los Angeles office. With over 7 years of experience, he has led and assisted in the design of higher education, civic, residential, and mixed-use projects throughout theUnited States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He collaborates with in-house engineers on integrated energy master plans that address sustainability on a campus-wide scale, and that inform the development of comprehensive Energy Design Guidelines that promote building efficiencies and the dramatic reduction of long-range energy-use. Mohamed has lectured at the USC School of Architecture on Environmental Systems Research and is a published writer in the United States, Canada, and India with publications in ACADIA and CAADRIA. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Ain Shams University, and a Master of Building Science from the University of Southern California.
