Success is Action-Oriented: Frameworks and Mindsets for High-Performance Operations

Oregon Convention Center: Room A105-A106
Track: Case Studies

What is the reality of preparing for and committing to effective building operations over the life of a Living Building Challenge certified building? In truth, it takes preparation for owners to embrace the LBC as an operational philosophy and inspire regular authentic actions. This interactive case study session will provide an intimate look at solutions to the many complex problems that teams will face from design, to performance period, and through multi-year occupancy. The audience will learn strategies essential for ongoing success, discuss petal-based operational concerns in a mini-workshop, and leave with an implementation framework for successful performance outcomes. Ultimately, this session will demonstrate how the Challenge enhances the experience of all people who pursue it through the crucible that is DOING.
