Dan Kent is Salmon-Safe's co-founder and executive director. Dan led the development of Salmon-Safe since its inception at river and native fish protection organization Pacific Rivers and he has more than twenty years of experience in market-based conservation inspiring environmental innovation in public and corporate institutions across the West Coast. A native of the Pacific Northwest, Dan was raised on a small farm in the Palouse Hills of eastern Washington state. Dan earned an MBA from University of Oregon, a B.A. in Management and Economics from Washington State University. Dan also is a co-founder and interim President of Wild Farm Alliance, a California-based conservation organization working nationally to integrate biodiversity conservation on agricultural lands.
